Can a New Jersey Notary Public notatize documents in another state?
A New Jersey Notary Public does not have authority to perform their duties outside of the physical boundaries of New Jersey. If you regularly maintain employment in a different State, it may be possible to be commissioned in that state. Please refer to that states Notary Public division for application requirements.
