New Jersey presently has no statutes requiring education for existing, renewing or newly commissioned notaries public.
The New Jersey Notary Association provides educational opportunities throughout the year at our regularly scheduled membership meetings. Education is provided for no cost or low cost (based on learning materials) by our approved provider of educational courses.
As a supporting organization of Senator Scutari's S757, a bill requiring education, the New Jersey Notary Association continues our support of notary public education by offering relevant topics by the professional notary education programs offered by our provider and created specifically for the New Jersey Notary Association.
